Washington DC and Baltimore- Rain showers are out of the area by noon. In the afternoon temperatures plummet dropping into the upper teens in some spots. Any standing water will freeze tonight, so be careful commuting tomorrow. Power outages are also a possibility as winds will be gusting to 50 miles per hour.
Philadelphia- Rain showers for the city and mixed precipitation for the northwestern suburbs will continue until 1:00. Similar to DC and Baltimore temperature so are going to plummet, winds will be strong and gusty and any areas of rain or slush will freeze.
New York- Rain, snow and sleet will continue until noon. Then, as temperatures fall it will turn to all snow and 1-2 inches will accumulate. Northwest suburbs need to be very careful as significant ice is expected. There has already been numerous accidents so don't try doing anything stupid.
Boston- Heavy snow continues throughout the morning. In the early afternoon it will mix with sleet and freezing rain. During the evening hours the snow will begin to taper off and be out of the area by 10pm. End snow accumulations of about a foot in the city. The western suburbs, for example the Worcester area will likely get over a foot with as much as 18 inches possible. Southern and eastern suburbs will get less than a foot with snow totals of 6-12 inches.
