Significant snow has fallen in northern and eastern New England.
A snow storm continues to drop snow in Maine. Also wind advisories and wind chill advisories are in effect for tonight into tomorrow. Below is a map of some of the strong wind gusts tomorrow morning. There is also a map of the low temperatures tonight.
Sunday a storm moves into the area from west to east. This could mean some trouble for the western Pennsylvania, western Maryland and southwestern New York state for Super bowl Sunday. The storm will continue to track east Monday. My projected snowfall map is on the winter weather page and the time that the snow will start. The purple area on the map got cut off but I am predicting 10-15 inches of snow not 0-15 inches. There is still some time with this storm, so things could change. But since the weather models are in good agreement, I am fairly confident with my forecast.
I am in the process of updating my graphics so the maps I make may have some temporary issues. Once I have worked out all the problems the maps will be much more sleek and easy to follow.
