Friday a low pressure will develop in the southeast. It'll move northeast throughout the day. Around 4 AM night the storm will be centered off the coast of Norfolk Virginia. In addition to heavy snow, damaging winds and storm surge is likely. I'll have a storm surge map out tomorrow.
The forecast is extremely difficult north of Philadelphia. The possibility for snow totals to completely change is certainly there. I especially think in northern New Jersey there is a chance for some way underdone totals.
I'll have a longer discussion tomorrow. I just didn't have enough time tonight. Be sure to join me on twitter and in the morning right here for more updates!
