An icy morning tomorrow, followed by rain. But is snow on its way...
Expect some light rain showers tomorrow. Temperatures will be below freezing early in the morning and some freezing rain is possible. Expect a glazing of ice in northwestern portions of the coverage area.
Sunday will be a washout with as much as 3 inches of rain possible.
Monday will be cold and dry as a cold front will pass through.
Tuesday will be dry with pretty seasonable temperatures.
Wednesday we have to watch for some snow. It'll start out Tuesday night as a clipper system starts to swoop in from the Great Lakes. Wednesday the clipper will transfer its energy to the Gulf of Maine and rapidly intensify. The storm will move very quickly and by mid-day Tuesday it'll be out of the Northeast.
In the coverage area all I expect is some on and off again snow Tuesday. It looks like we could get anywhere from a coating to as much as 3 inches.
Once that storm departs expect some very cold weather.
Then next weekend another storm may impact us. I'll talk more about this threat tomorrow.
