The latest model runs are in and all I can say is hang in snow lovers snow may be coming your way!
The gfs is basically saying that I-95 corridor will start out as snow and get a quick coating to a inch but then turn to rain. The GFS is also predicting that the higher elevations of new England will have a snowstorm with up to two feet
The parallel GFS is suggesting a much snowier storm with all of northeast under at least 6 inches of snow excluding southern delmarva. This model also brings snow totals of 2 feet+ in the highest elevations.
Next, the Canadian model shows no snow for the I-95 corridor but in parts of northern New England up to 3 feet of snow. This model also shows another storm to dump another foot of snow in the same area just days later! The second storm is not included in the picture.
I can't currently show you the European model but it puts a similar situation to the Canadian but shifts the rains snow line southeast around the I-95 corridor. I am currently in best agreement with the European model but all of these scenarios could happen. What I worry is that the models will do what they have been doing, predicting a snowstorm then changing the track so most of the northeast misses out on snow. Say in the comments below what you are hoping for this storm. Also I will answer any questions asked in the comment section. Don't forget to like! I will have a lake effect update later this afternoon and a storm watch in the morning.
