I took a short break from the weather as nothing was really going on. While I still don't see any big storms coming our way a huge cool down is on the way.
You probably noticed that today was pretty chilly compared to past days. But todays chilly weather will be nothing compared to whats coming soon.
Tonight won't be too cold with lows ranging from the low 40s to the low 50s. Saturday morning lows will be in the low to upper 40s. Sunday morning expect widespread frost. Temperatures will be in the 30s across the area.
Sunday is when the arctic air is going to be coldest. I expect most non-coastal areas to have a freeze and the higher elevations will see a hard freeze. Frost is likely for NYC, and all other coastal areas. Here is a map.
Yes the models are hinting that we could see a few flakes on Sunday. I don't expect any accumulations but I think that a couple areas could see there first flakes. Bes sure to follow my twitter for weather updates!
