Quite the storm is going to move through tomorrow...
Rain will start to move in tomorrow morning and it should be raining everywhere by noon. The heaviest of the rain will move through between tomorrow at 6 PM to 12 AM from west to east.
I think that the heaviest rain will be in Orange county but I say that with relatively low confidence. There is also the potential that Long Island and central Jersey gets more rain than I am forecasting.
The rain should start to taper off around midnight and things should be all dry by Thursday at noon.
There will also be a windy side to the storms. These winds could get quite strong possibly even damaging on the south shore of Long Island. The strongest winds will be at the same time as the heaviest rain between 6 PM and 12 AM.
Halloween should be nice but rather chilly.
I don't see any storms in sight so the drought will go on! I do think that as we head into November we switch to a more stormy pattern.
